The aim of this meeting is to learn how to use the Simulation of X-ray Telescopes (SIXTE) software to produce simulations of X-ray observations for a large number of different missions and in particular for the Athena mission.
The workshop, conducted by the SIXTE team, is divided into four sessions:

Simulating Transition Edge Detectors (TES).
Session 4:

Practical: Extended sources and Mosaics.

Practical: High-resolution spectroscopy.
