Description
Neutrino oscillation models predict extra mass eigenstates beyond 3 standard model neutrino mass eigenstates. Sterile neutrino models, based on short baseline experiments provide $\Delta m_{41}^2=1.75 \rm eV ^2$. But a few eV mass neutrino dark matter is ruled out by several cosmological datasets. In this work, we couple neutrino with a hidden sector whose temperature is different from the standard one. Using CAMB we have studied the effect of this coupling on CMB angular power spectrum and the matter power spectrum. By analytical and numerical studies we find out that neutrinos coupled with hidden sectors with half the temperature of the visible sector can be incorporated as a dark matter candidate.
